I don’t know if you know how much I just LOVE NetGalley right now but OMG!
I helped promote Rachel’s bus tour a month or two ago and the reward for doing that was an advance copy of ALPHA via ebook!!!!!
I just started reading it on my Kindle, and I’m dying of excitement. Oh Rachel how you tease us with this opening! I stopped reading it so I could post about it real quick. Check out my First Line Friday on, well, Friday for the first line of ALPHA. I’ve heard that Rachel released the first chapter of ALPHA so you may have already seen the first line but damn is it a good one.
Off to read this. I will probably get it done today or tonight! OMG!
Rachel Vincent will be in the Chicago Area soon! Mark your calendars!
To see a formatted schedule click HERE. It’s a PDF document. 🙂
But not only is it Rachel it’s also four other awesome authors!
- Carla Neggers
- Gena Showalter (fan girl squeal)
- Susan Mallery
- Emilie Richards
Rachel will be promoting her newest releases:
If you’re lucky enough to live close to these locations I envy you. I loved seeing Rachel and Gena at BEA this year and last year.
Do you live close? And will you attend? Let me know!
My Soul to Keep (Soul Screamers, Book 3) by Rachel Vincent
304 pages, Young Adult, series
Harlequin Teen (June 1, 2010)
$9.99 (Paperback, Amazon.com, 06/11/10)
I grabbed an ARC while at the Harlequin Teen signing. I also had the eARC from NetGalley, however, it was formatted wrong and have all kinds of crazy characters in as quotes and apostrophes.
Overall: 28/30 = 93% A
Cover/Title Bonus: 3
A relatable topic with strong character revelations and character cooperation. I will be eagerly awaiting the next book to see how it all pans out.
WHEN KAYLEE CAVANAUGH SCREAMS, SOMEONE DIES
AND KAYLEE IS ABOUT TO SCREAM HER HEAD OFF…
Kaylee has one addiction: her very hot, very popular boyfriend, Nash. A banshee like Kaylee, Nash understands her like no one else. Nothing can come between them.
Until something does.
Demon’s breath. No, not the toothpaste-challenged kind. The Netherworld kind. The kind that really can kill you. Somehow, the super-addictive substance has made its way to the human world. But how? Kaylee and Nash have to cut off the source and protect their friends—one of whom is already hooked.
And when the epidemic hits too close to home, Kaylee will have to risk everything to save those she loves.
